 GUIDE LINES FOR ENROLMENT OF TECHNICAL PERSONS FOR CARRYING OUT BUILDING OPERATIONS WITHIN NEW TOWN KOLKATA.

  1. Application in plain paper or letterhead are invited for enrolment with West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (HIDCO) for the purpose of being engaged by plot owners to carry out building operations at New Town,  as per Building Rules and Regulations applicable in New Town,  Kolkata, from the following categories of technical persons :

(i) Architect (ii) Civil Engineer (iii) Structural Engineer (iv) Geo-technical Engineer (v) Town Planner (vi) Public Health Engineer (vii) Electrical Engineer (viii) Site Supervisor (ix) Electrical Supervisor and (x) Plumber.

  1. Applicant must state in ink or print (i) his/her Name (in Block letters), (ii) Permanent and Correspondence Address, (iii) Telephone (landline and/or mobile) No. (iv) Email address if any, (v) Details of technical qualifications (vi) Registration No./License No. of Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Notified Area Authority/Local Self Government/Registered and Government recognized or statutory Technical or Professional Institutions, and (viii) Experience of Technical Performance in his/her respective field of operation.
  2. Attested copies of certificates (qualifications & experiences) must be enclosed with the application. For Architects, certificate of registration in terms of Architects Act, 1972 will be sufficient. Originals have to be shown at the time of verification of the application by HIDCO officials.
  3. Applicants must make themselves conversant before submitting the application regarding their eligibility etc. for carrying out building operations by going through the Rules and Regulations in this regard. However the book containing the same is available against payment of Rs.100/- each to be paid in cash from Sr. Accountant at the said office of the undersigned during office hours up to 3.00 P.M. on working days from Monday to Friday.
  4. A sum of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred ) only is to be paid to HIDCO towards application fee, through  Syndicate Bank, New Town Rajarhat Branch near the office of the undersigned against A/C no.9525/307/1010 by cash or pay order or demand draft payable in favour of WB HIDCO Ltd. payable at Kolkata
  5. Application will be received at the receiving counter of the office of the undersigned with proof of depositing the said sum of Rs.500.00 (Rupees five hundred) only
  6. The enrolment will remain valid for 3 (three) years after which enrolment may be renewed with payment of further fees as may be decided by the authority.
  7. Enrolment is a continuous process and all eligible candidates will be enrolled if requisite qualifications as prescribed in the Building Rules and Regulations for New Town, Kolkata are fulfilled.
