Applications are invited from intending persons fulfilling the following eligibility criteria for the position of Chief Manager (  Accounts & Audit) in WBHIDCO Ltd.

Cost Accountant with membership of professional body/bodies

Experience :

Around 15 – 20 years of working experience in any industry, Company or Firm with around 5 years in a senior position heading the finance wing.

Age Limit :

Maximum 50 years as on 31.12.2008

Essential

Knowledge  :

·         Accounting standards and accounting principles

·         Provisions of direct and indirect taxation impacting the Company

·         Current regulatory framework applicable to the Company 

·         Best practices and trends in financial management in terms of fund management, capital structuring, budgeting, resource mobilisation & deployment etc.

·         Best practices in cost management in terms of identifying areas of possible cost allocation, reduction, implementing cost reduction initiatives etc.

·         Skills in resolving issues raised by Auditors/Tax Authorities & timely finalization of Accounts.

·         Functional knowledge of an integrated information system and tools for transaction recording, management reporting and analysis. 

·         Trends and best practices in application of information technology for augmenting operational effectiveness. 

Compensation Package :

Rs.35,000/-(Rupees thirty five thousand)per month(consolidated remuneration) plus other parks like medical insurance, tiffin charges, conveyance & phone subject to the norms and limit of the company

Service

Conditions :

After successful completion of one year, the incumbent will be considered on contract service in HIDCO initially upto 3 years, further renewable on need &  performance
