Corner plots will be charged 10% higher and shall be payable along with the first installment of price. The intending buyer may indicate preference.

The number of plots may change. The exact number will be known before the draw of lots.

Total price of a plot indicated in the aforesaid table is an approximate average figure, which will finally depend on the actual area of the plot on demarcation and the price per cottah.

The price per cottah indicated above is tentative and the final price may increase, subject to a maximum escalation of 10%.

Plots are expected to be handed over  in a phased manner and  may start in about three year from the date of the issue of allotment letters except on account of Force Majeure , i.e. the causes beyond the reasonable control of WBHIDCO Ltd.

Lottery will be held first for plots in Action Area-II. Those unsuccessful in the first lottery for  plots in Action Area-II shall be considered for the 2nd lottery for  plots in Action Area-III afterward on a convenient day. No separate application is necessary for this purpose.

After draw of lots in both the phases application money will be refunded to the unsuccessful applicant through the bank. No interest will be paid to the unsuccessful applicants for application money so deposited.

No waiting list will be maintained for both the draw of lottery.

In case full information is not given as per the application form or the information furnished does not support the application, it will be rejected.

Regarding monthly income.

Applicants will have to submit Annual Return(s) of Income, as submitted to the I.T. Deptt. for the latest  Assessment Year along with a certificate from the  employer(s), if any, together with an affidavit in prescribed format (as enclosed).

In case of applicants who are not income-tax payers, a certificate from the employer in original, if any, together with an affidavit in prescribed format, must be submitted.

Applicants belonging to HIG(C) are not eligible for MIG(C) & LIG(C) plots. However,  LIG(C) applicants are free to apply for MIG(C) & HIG(C) plots. Like wise, MIG(C) applicants can apply for HIG(C) plots. However, any income group can apply for large Coop. plots.

Successful applicants will be informed of the specific plot number in the form of allotment letter  to be issued after the draw of lots.

Eight members from eight different families can apply for a Co-operative plot. In case of Large Coop. there should be 32 members from different families.

The plots will be allotted on a freehold basis.

One applicant can apply for only one plot for his/her  family in New Town. A member of a coop. Housing society of New Town can avail himself/herself of one plot in New Town for his/her family.

Other Terms and Conditions

Deed of conveyance will be executed by the allottee on payment of full price of land including interest accrued if any, and documentation charge.

In addition to land price, the allottee shall have to pay legal charges for documentation to the tune of Rs.1500/- and other charges as may become admissible on account of building plan sanction, water/power charges etc. to WBHIDCO Ltd.
